Each month we introduce the nurse/HCA of the month who has gone above and beyond and has received positive feedback from clients. For the month of October, we celebrated Isaac Ogunwale for always going the extra mile and pick up shifts when ever offered him. We are happy to have him on the team!
We caught up with Isaac on his nomination, and this is what he had to say:
I have been working for Greenstaff Medical for more than one year now.
Very good! It's a culture that supports people to do their best with client satisfaction – which is our main focus.
The onboarding process is robust but clear as to what to do at every stage. With the support of my compliance officer, everything was made simple.
What thrills me most is the consultants. My consultant always treats field staff with dignity and respect. He is someone I always want to work for. He always finds solutions to problems. Greenstaff Medical is one of the best agencies around in terms of pay rates and prompt payment of wages. Rate is above competitive, and you receive your wages the same day you submit your timesheet.
The consultants are always readily available to solve problems regarding timesheets. Also, my expectations of getting shifts are always met.
I love this job. I have been doing it for over a decade. Not only for money but the passion to have a positive impact on people's lives, especially the elderly and vulnerable. Helping people to achieve their goals is my passion. At the end of my shift, if I look back and see I have been able to put smile on some people’s face, then I am more than satisfied.
I can always seek help from my colleagues, supervisor etc. I can take a day off or call in other staff.
This has not been a problem.
To further my nursing studies next year.
